Our Story

Franco and Charlotte first met in 2006 at Cagayan National High School, where they became classmates and best friends. In college, they often meet for quick catch ups with their mutual friend, Reia. When they entered med and law school, they rarely saw each other, but their friendship and communication remained. They had their own love interests at the time.

Sometime in 2014, Charlotte had a spiritual encounter wherein the Holy Spirit clearly impressed upon her mind that Franco would be her husband. This happened at a time when the two weren't romantically interested in each other at all. Early in 2016, the Lord wondrously moved once again and, speaking through Charlotte's aunt, Pastor Charito Aglaua Benish, told her that He wants a doctor for her. For Charlotte, this was a confirmation of the message she had received earlier from the Lord, and at the same time, a prophetic message about Franco becoming a doctor. Franco didn't know anything about these divine revelations.

Fast forward to 2019, by God's grace, Franco indeed became a doctor. By the same grace, Charlotte became a lawyer almost a year later. In between their trials and triumphs, their friendship developed deeper and gradually blossomed into romance. The day after Charlotte signed the roll of attorneys, Franco formally asked to pursue her in courtship. In 2021, the two became official, and exactly a year later, Charlotte finally shared with Franco how God stepped in several years ago and divinely unveiled to her a portion of His beautiful plans for them.

Franco and Charlotte's love story is founded on genuine friendship refined through the years and strengthened by their mutual desire to grow in their walk with the Lord, by whose supreme power and authority all things unfolded in the right place and at the right time for them.

The Lord's mighty hands continued to bless their relationship, and in the middle of 2022, Franco felt God's leading for marriage. Shortly after obtaining the blessing of the Lord and of Charlotte's parents, on the first of January 2023, at Olis' little front yard garden in Tuao, Franco knelt on one knee, asked the big question, and received Charlotte's longed-for sweet “Yes.”
